Conformance standard
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing obligation rather than a one-time audit.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML5 landmarks, headings in logical order, and descriptive page titles
- A visible skip-to-content link and a fully keyboard-operable interface, including menus and calculators
- Visible focus indicators that meet contrast and size requirements
- Text and interface contrast ratios meeting AA thresholds in both light and dark themes
- Form inputs with programmatically associated labels, and calculator results announced through a live region
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting - Layouts that reflow to 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling
Known limitations
Some third-party embedded content may not fully meet our standard. We work with vendors on remediation and will provide accessible alternatives where a fix is not available.
