This page describes how content on 1PropertyHub is produced, reviewed, and maintained. It is a commitment, not a marketing statement, and we expect readers to hold us to it.
Author expertise
Every article is assigned to an editor with direct professional experience in the subject matter — mortgage origination, acquisitions and asset management, property management, commercial brokerage, real estate tax practice, or housing research. Author names, roles, and credentials are disclosed on every article and on author profile pages. We do not publish anonymously.
Sourcing
We work from primary sources wherever they exist: statutes and regulations, agency handbooks such as HUD 4000.1 and the Fannie Mae Selling Guide, IRS publications and the Internal Revenue Code, federal statistical releases, and peer-reviewed or institutional research. Secondary sources are used for context and are identified as such. Sources are listed at the end of substantive guides.
Review process
Draft → subject-matter review → editorial review for accuracy, clarity, and compliance → publication. Articles covering legal, tax, or regulatory topics receive additional scrutiny and carry explicit guidance to confirm with a licensed professional, because these areas are state-specific and change.
Updates
Every article displays a publication date and a last-updated date. We review evergreen guides at least annually and sooner when a rule, limit, or program changes materially. Updating an article means re-verifying its claims, not changing the date.
Corrections
Factual errors are corrected promptly. Substantive corrections are noted on the article. Report errors to corrections@1propertyhub.com.
Advertising and independence
Advertising and affiliate relationships never influence editorial content, recommendations, or rankings. Sponsored content, if published, will be labeled unambiguously and will not be written by our editorial team. No advertiser receives pre-publication review of editorial copy.
Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools for research assistance, outlining, and copy editing. Every published article is written, verified, and approved by a named human editor who is accountable for its accuracy. We do not publish unreviewed machine-generated content.
What this content is not
Nothing on 1PropertyHub is financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. We are an educational publisher. Real estate law and tax treatment vary by state and by individual circumstance. Consult a licensed professional before acting.
