Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as an email address submitted to our newsletter or a message sent to one of our contact addresses. Our hosting provider also records standard server log information needed to serve and secure the site, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed. Anything collected by a third party on top of that — analytics or advertising — happens only if you have consented, as described under tracking technologies.
Calculator inputs
Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are not transmitted to our servers, not stored, and not logged. Learning-path progress is stored locally in your browser using local storage and never leaves your device.
How we use information
To deliver and improve the site, to send the newsletter you requested, to respond to your inquiries, to measure aggregate traffic patterns, and to comply with legal obligations.
Tracking technologies and your consent
Nothing on this site that belongs to another company runs until you say it can. Google Analytics and Google AdSense are switched off when the page loads and stay off unless you turn them on. There is no pre-checked box and no “by continuing to browse you agree” — if you have not made a choice, the tags have not run, and no third party has received anything about your visit.
You will see a notice on your first visit asking what you allow. Accept all and Reject all are offered as equally easy, single-click choices, and rejecting costs you nothing: every guide, calculator, and tool works exactly the same either way.
Two categories can be turned on:
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC. Lets us count visits and see which guides get read. When enabled, Google receives your IP address, the URL of the page you are on, the page that referred you, and basic device, browser, and language details, and sets identifiers in your browser. If you allow analytics but not advertising, we explicitly disable Google Signals and ad personalization so this data is not used to target ads to you.
- Advertising — Google AdSense, provided by Google LLC. Funds the site and lets Google personalize the ads you see. When enabled, Google receives the same technical details and may set an advertising identifier that follows you to other sites. Leave it off and ads are simply not displayed.
Strictly necessary storage always works and never involves anyone else: your light or dark theme preference, your saved learning-path progress, and the record of the privacy choice you made here. These are stored in your own browser and are never transmitted to us or to anyone. Calculator inputs never leave your device at all.
We do not use session-recording, screen-replay, keystroke-logging, mouse-tracking, or chat tools, and there is no advertising pixel, fingerprinting script, or data broker code anywhere on this site.
Your privacy choices
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, and it takes effect immediately. Select in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent also clears the identifiers those tags had set in your browser.
We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or extension sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out of the sale and sharing of your personal information: analytics and advertising stay off, we do not ask you again, and we do not override the signal. We treat a Do Not Track header the same way. You can still opt in yourself through the control above if you want to.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never share the contents of what you write to us. But we want to be precise rather than reassuring: if you turn on advertising, the information Google receives is used for cross-context behavioral advertising, and California law classifies that as “sharing” — and, on a broad reading of “valuable consideration,” potentially as a “sale.” That is why it is off unless you switch it on, and why you can switch it back off whenever you like.
Apart from that, we share data only with service providers processing it on our behalf under contract — hosting, content delivery, and email delivery — and where the law requires it.
California residents
This section is our notice at collection under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and it also explains how we approach the California Invasion of Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 630 et seq.).
Categories of personal information we collect: identifiers (IP address, and cookie or advertising identifiers if you allow them); internet and network activity (pages viewed, referring page, and general interaction with the site); and approximate location inferred from IP address. If you email us, we collect the identifiers and contents you choose to send. We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or any other category of sensitive personal information, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics.
Purposes: to deliver and secure the site, to measure aggregate traffic if you allow analytics, to display advertising if you allow it, and to answer you if you contact us. Retention: we keep server logs for a short operational period and retain analytics data only for the retention window configured in Google Analytics; correspondence is kept as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.
Interception, recording, and consent. CIPA prohibits reading or recording a communication in transit, or capturing its routing and addressing information, without the consent of the parties to it. We treat your request for a page as exactly that — a communication between you and us. So we do not let any third party sit in on it by default. No analytics or advertising tag is loaded, and no identifier is read, until you have given informed, express consent through the control described above; declining leaves the site fully usable; and you can withdraw at any time. We also do not record your interactions with these pages, do not capture what you type, and do not operate any device that logs the addressing details of your visit for another party's benefit.
Your rights: to know what we collect and how we use it, to access a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of sale or sharing and of targeted advertising, to limit the use of sensitive personal information (inapplicable here, as we collect none), and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We charge no different price and provide no different quality of service based on your privacy choices. Exercise the opt-out yourself with the footer control, or send any request to privacy@1propertyhub.com; we will verify it by replying to the address you write from and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our response.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws, and residents of the EEA and UK, have specific statutory rights. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
